Abstract

"TROCADOR DE CALOR E MéTODO DE UTILIZAçãO". Um trocador de calor compreende uma pluralidade de primeiros tubos de troca de calor (2) que se estendem pelo trocador e por uma pluralidade de câmaras de troca de calor que se estendem lateralmente, tendo cada câmara (23-27) pelo menos uma entrada a partir de uma primeira câmara e pelo menos uma saída para uma segunda câmara coaxialmente adjacente, e tendo cada câmara uma pluralidade de zonas de interconexão transversais, sendo cada uma destas definida por pelo menos dois dos referidos tubos, e pelo menos uma primeira zona possui uma entrada para a primeira câmara e pelo menos uma segunda zona, diferente da primeira zona, possui uma saída para a segunda câmara. Inclui-se também um defletor para misturar ou distribuir os vapores de um primeiro fluido que passa axialmente de um local à montante a um local à jusante, o qual compreende defletores (28) transversais através do reservatório em pelo menos duas fileiras sucessivas, as quais definem uma câmara transversal (22) aberta, tendo os defletores em fileiras sucessivas uma distribuição espacial diferente através do reservatório. De preferência, o aparelho apresenta o trocador de calor na sua montante de distribuição, e todo o aparelho é um reformador completo.
