Abstract

"EIXO DE DIREçãO DE COMPRIMENTO VARIáVEL", para dispositivos de direção de veículos automotores a qual apresenta pelo menos dois perfis (1, 2), coaxialmente arranjados, apresentado seção transversal não circular, dos quais pelo menos um é configurado como peça tubular, no interior da qual outro perfil (1) é inserido com sua parte terminal e assentado de maneira deslocável, entretanto em união positiva de modo a poder transmitir um momento de rotação. O o contorno externo do perfil interno (1) e o contorno interno do perfil externo (2) são conformados de maneira a corresponderem pelo menos em sua seção transversal. Estes contornos são formados pelo menos em parte por segmentos sobrepostos, em forma de curva, sendo que o raio de curvatura destes segmentos em forma de curva são dispostas ao longo de cada contorno circunferencial alternadamente interna e extrenamente de cada perfil (1, 2). Entre estes dois perfis (1, 2), é entalhada uma região fendida (4) circunferencial ao longo de sua largura circunferencial alternada. Esta região fendida (4) é absorvida por uma luva deslizante (7) de material macromolecular. A luva deslizante (7), ao longo de seu contorno circunferencial, somente está assentada de maneira segementada e alternada nas paredes limítrofes com a região de fenda (4) dos perfis (1, 2), sendo que a luva de deslizamento (7) está assentada de maneira alternada nos segmentos convexos do perfil interno (1) e nos segmentos cóncavos do perfil externo (2). Quando o eixo de direção está livre de torque, as zonas de transição (12, 13) em adjacentes em direção radial, entre o assento de cada correspondente perfil (1, 2) são subsequentemente deslocados angularmente entre si. Visto em direção do contorno circunferencial, o segmento da luva de deslizamento (7) entre as duas zonas de transição (12, 13) apresenta uma folga frente aos correspondentes perfis (1, 2) adjacentes.
