Abstract

PROCESSO APERFEIçOADO PARA A HIDROGENAçãO CATALìTICA DE NITRILAS PARA PRODUZIR AMINAS. Um processo aperfeiçoado para a hidrogenação catalítica de nitrilas. O processo básico compreende contactar a nitrila com o hidrogênio na presença de um catalizador de cobalto esponjoso ou Raney sob condições para efetuar a conversão do grupo nitrila para a amina primária. O aperfeiçoamento no processo de hidrogenação reside em efetuar a hidrogenação na presença de uma quantidade catalítica de hidróxido de lítio e água. Para alcançar uma quantidade catalítica de hidróxido de lítio, o catalisador pode ser pré tratado com hidróxido de lítio e/ou a reação pode ser realizada com o hidróxido de lítio presente no meio de reação.
