Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A SEPARAçãO DE UM COMPONENTE, MAIS SELETIVAMENTE ADSORVìVEL DE UMA MISTURA GASOSA INCLUINDO UM COMPONENTE MENOS SELETIVAMENTE ADSORVìVEL". A invenção refere-se a um processo e a uma aparelhagem de PSA no(a) qual o leito adsorvente fixo compreende uma zona de equilíbrio e uma zona de transferência de massa. Em adição, as zonas de equilíbrio e de transferência de massa compreendem cada uma pelo menos um material adsorvente, seletivo para a adsorção de um componente capaz de ser adsorvido mais seletivamente, que é selecionado tendo por base o desempenho daquele material adsorvente sob as condições do processo aplicáveis à citada zona.
