Description
本出願は、2015年10月27日に出願された「スイング吸着プロセス用の装置及びシステム」と題された米国特許仮出願第62/246,922号の利益を主張し、その全体が引用により本明細書に組み込まれる。

Claims (28)
- 供給ストリームから汚染物質を除去するための方法であって、前記方法は、
a)吸着床ユニットにおいて1又は2以上の吸着ステップを実行するステップを含み、前記1又は2以上の吸着ステップの各々は、
(i)供給入口導管から前記吸着床ユニットのハウジングの内部領域に配置された吸着床へガス状供給ストリームを送るために、1又は2以上の能動制御型供給ポペット弁を開くステップと、
(ii)前記ガス状供給ストリームを前記吸着床に曝して、前記ガス状供給ストリームから1又は2以上の汚染物質を分離して、生成物ストリームを形成するステップと、
(iii)前記生成物ストリームを前記ハウジング内の内部領域から離れて生成物導管に導くように1又は2以上の受動制御型生成物弁を開くステップであって、前記1又は2以上の受動制御型の生成物弁の各々は、前記1又は2以上の能動制御型供給ポペット弁のうちの少なくとも1つと同相で動作するようにするステップと、を含み、
前記方法が更に、
b)1又は2以上の減圧ステップを実行するステップであって、前記1又は2以上の減圧ステップの各々は、出力ストリーム中の1又は2以上の汚染物質の少なくとも一部を分離して導くステップを含むステップと、
c)少なくとも1つの追加サイクルにおいて前記ステップa)からb)を繰り返すステップであって、サイクル持続時間が1秒より長く600秒未満の期間であるステップと、を含み、
前記1又は2以上の能動制御型供給ポペット弁を開くステップは、複数の供給開口部を設けるために、供給作動機構を用いて複数の供給弁ステムに固定された供給リフトプレートを直線的に移動させるステップを更に含み、前記複数の供給弁ステムの各々は供給ディスク要素に固定され、前記複数の供給開口部の各々は、前記供給ディスク要素と前記吸着床ユニットのハウジングに固定された関連する供給弁座との間に間隙を形成する、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記1又は2以上の能動制御型供給ポペット弁を開くステップは、前記複数の供給開口部のうちの第1の供給開口部を通る前記ガス状供給ストリームのための第1の供給流路を提供した後、前記複数の供給開口部のうちの第2の開口部を通る第2の供給流路を提供するステップを更に含む、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記1又は2以上の能動制御型供給ポペット弁を開くステップは、前記供給ディスク要素を前記吸着床から離れるように移動させて、前記供給ディスク要素と前記関連する供給弁座との間に間隙を形成するステップを更に含む、
請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 - 前記1又は2以上の減圧ステップを実行する間に前記1又は2以上の能動制御型供給ポペット弁からの漏れを阻止するために、前記供給入口導管と前記内部領域との間の圧力差に基づいて前記1又は2以上の能動制御型供給ポペット弁の各々に対する前記供給ディスク要素に圧力を加えるステップを更に含む、
請求項1〜3のうちの何れか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記1又は2以上の受動制御型生成物弁を開くステップは、少なくとも1つの生成物弁ステムに連結された生成物ディスク要素と前記吸着床ユニットのハウジングに固定された生成物弁座との間に生成物開口部を設けるために、生成物付勢機構と共に前記少なくとも1つの生成物弁ステムを直線的に移動させるステップを更に含む、
請求項1〜4のうちの何れか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記生成物付勢機構は、前記内部領域と前記生成物導管との間の圧力差が特定の閾値を超えたことに基づいて、直線的に移動するように構成される、
請求項5に記載の方法。 - 前記1又は2以上の受動制御型生成物弁を開くステップは、前記生成物ディスク要素を前記吸着床から離れるように移動させて、前記生成物ディスク要素と前記生成物弁座との間に間隙を形成するステップを更に含む、
請求項5〜6のうちの何れか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記1又は2以上の減圧ステップを実行する間に前記1又は2以上の受動制御型生成物弁からの漏れを阻止するために、前記内部領域と前記生成物導管との間の生成物圧力差によって前記1又は2以上の受動制御型生成物弁の各々に対する前記生成物ディスク要素に圧力を加えるステップを更に含む、
請求項5〜7のうちの何れか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記1又は2以上の受動制御型生成物弁を開くステップは、可撓性ストリップを移動させて金属ストリップと生成物弁座との間に開口部を設けるステップを更に含む、
請求項1〜4のうちの何れか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記1又は2以上の減圧ステップを実行するステップは、1又は2以上のパージステップを含み、前記1又は2以上のパージステップの各々は、パージストリームを前記吸着床ユニットに通して、パージ出力ストリームにおける前記1又は2以上の汚染物質の少なくとも一部を分離して導くステップを含む、
請求項1〜9のうちの何れか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記1又は2以上のパージステップの各々は、(i)1又は2以上の能動制御型パージ排出口ポペット弁を開いて、前記パージ出力ストリームを前記吸着床から離れるように導くステップと、(ii)前記パージストリームを前記吸着床ユニットに曝して、前記1又は2以上の汚染物質の少なくとも一部を前記吸着床から分離して前記パージ出力ストリームを形成するステップと、(iii)1又は2以上の受動制御型パージポペット弁を開いて、前記パージストリームをパージ導管から前記内部領域へ送るステップと、を含む、
請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記1又は2以上の受動制御型生成物弁を開くステップは、前記1又は2以上の能動制御型供給ポペット弁を開くステップにおける前記時間間隔の少なくとも80%以内である、
請求項1〜11のうちの何れか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記1又は2以上の吸着ステップを実行した後に1又は2以上の加熱ステップを実行するステップを更に含み、前記1又は2以上の加熱ステップの各々は、ある加熱温度の加熱ストリームを前記吸着床に通すステップを含む、
請求項1〜12のうちの何れか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記ガス状供給ストリームは、前記ガス状供給ストリームの全体積に基づいて1体積%を超える炭化水素類を有する炭化水素含有ストリームである、
請求項1〜13のうちの何れか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記ガス状供給ストリームは、50bar絶対圧(bara)〜150baraの範囲にある供給圧力と0°F〜200°Fの範囲にある供給温度とで供給される、

1又は2以上の能動制御型ポペット弁であって、前記1又は2以上の能動制御型ポペット弁の各々は、前記内部領域と前記内部領域の外部にある第1の位置との間で前記能動制御型ポペット弁を介して前記ハウジング内の開口部を通る第1の流体流路を提供するように構成された、1又は2以上の能動制御型ポペット弁と、
1又は2以上の受動制御型弁であって、前記1又は2以上の受動制御型弁の各々は、前記内部領域と前記内部領域の外部にある第2の位置との間で前記受動制御型弁を介して前記ハウジング内の開口部を通る第2の流体流路を提供するように構成され、前記1又は2以上の受動制御型弁の各々は、前記1又は2以上の能動制御型ポペット弁のうちの少なくとも1つと同相で動作する、1又は2以上の受動制御型弁と、を備えており、
前記1又は2以上の能動制御型ポペット弁の各々が、能動型ディスク要素に連結された能動型弁ステムを含み、
