"COMPOSTO, FORMA E DOSAGEM DE UNIDADE FARMACêUTICA, E, PROCESSO TERAPêUTICO PARA INIBIR CRESCIMENTO DE CéLULA DE TUMOR EM UM SUJEITO EM NECESSIDADE DE TAL TERAPIA". A presente invenção fornece análogos de iludina de fórmula geral (I): onde R~ 1~ é (CH~ 2~)~ n~-X-Y ou H; n é 0 a 4; X é O ou N ou ausente; e Y é um (C~ 1~-C~ 8~) alquil opcionalmente substituído, (C~ 6~-C~ 10)aril, (C~ 6~-C~ 10~)aril(C~ 1~-C~ 4~)alquil ou ciclo (C~ 3~-C~ 6~)alquil compreendendo opcionalmente um ou mais heteroátomos; um monossacarídeo, um resíduo de amino ácido, ou H quando n é 2-4; R~ 2~ está ausente; ou R~ 1~ e R~ 2~ juntos compreendem um anel cíclico de 5-7 elementos; R~ 3~ é H, SCH~ 2~CO~ 2~(C~ 1~-C~ 2~(C~ 1~-C~ 4~)alquil, O-(c~ 5~-C~ 12~)aril ou -S-(C~ 5~-C~ 12~)aril; R~ 5~ é H, OH ou ausente; R~ 6~ é (C~ 1~-C~ 4~)alquil ou ausentes; r~ 7~ é OH ou OSI((C~ 1~-C~ 4~)alquil)~ 3~; ou R~ 6~ e R~ 7~ juntos são etilenodióxi; R~ 8~ é (C~ 1~-C~ 8~) alquil opcionlamente substituído; e as ligações representadas por --- estão individualmente presentes ou ausentes.
