Abstract

MÉTODO PARA FORMAR UMA PENEIRA MOLECULAR DE CARBONO, E, MONÓLITO DE PENEIRA MOLECULAR DE CARBONO. Métodos para formar uma peneira molecular de carbono incluem carregar fibras de polímero em um molde e aquecer o molde contendo as fibras de polímero a uma temperatura na faixa de 50 °C a 350 °C para formar um monólito de polímero. O monólito de polímero é, então, pirolisado por aquecimento até uma temperatura na faixa de 500 °C a 1.700 °C.
