Abstract
a presente invenção se refere a um processo para a preparação de ácido furan-2,5-dicarboxílico, o processo compreende as seguintes etapas: (a-1) preparar ou fornecer uma mistura de partida que compreende um, dois ou mais compostos de carboidratos selecionados a partir do grupo que consiste em hexoses, oligossacarídeos que compreendem as unidades de hexose e polissacarídeos que compreendem as unidades de hexose, e como o solvente ou como o cossolvente para ditos compostos de carboidratos uma quantidade de um ou mais ésteres de ácido carboxílico de fórmula (ii) (a-2) submetendo a mistura de partida às condições de reação de maneira que, pelo menos, um de dito um, dois ou mais compostos de carboidratos reaja, e uma fração de dita quantidade de um ou mais ésteres de ácido carboxílico de fórmula (ii) seja hidrolisada, de maneira que uma mistura produza o 5-(hidroximetil)furfural e/ou dito um ou mais ésteres de hmf de fórmula (i), um ou mais ácidos carboxílicos de fórmula (iii) e uma fração remanescente de dita quantidade de um ou mais ésteres de ácido carboxílico de fórmula (ii).
