Abstract

a invenção refere-se a fibras cítricas em forma seca, tendo uma capacidade de retenção de água (whc) de pelo menos 35 ml de água por grama de fibras anidras (0% de umidade). a referida fibra também tem um fator de inchamento (sv), em que ao aplicar uma força gravitacional (força g) em um meio aquoso contendo 1% em peso das referidas fibras dispersas no mesmo, o whc varia com a força g de acordo com a fórmula (1) em que df é um fator de decaimento de pelo menos 500.
