Abstract
trata-se de processos para produzir ácido acético que incluem, em geral, colocar em contato metanol e monóxido de carbono na presença de um meio de reação sob condições de carbonilação suficientes para formar ácido acético, em que o meio de reação inclui um catalisador de carbonilação selecionado dentre catalisadores de ródio, catalisadores de irídio e catalisadores de paládio; de 1% em peso a 14% em peso de água; e uma pluralidade de aditivos, derivados gerados in situ da pluralidade de aditivos ou combinações dos mesmos; e a pluralidade de aditivos inclui um primeiro aditivo que inclui um ou mais óxidos de fosfina e um segundo aditivo selecionado dentre heteropoliácidos, sais metálicos e combinações dos mesmos, em que os heteropoliácidos são representados pela fórmula hnm12xo40, em que h é hidrogênio, m é selecionado dentre tungstênio e molibdênio, x é selecionado dentre fósforo e silício e o é oxigênio, e n é 3 ou 4, e os sais metálicos são selecionados dentre sais metálicos de transição, sais metálicos de lantanídio e combinações dos mesmos; e recuperar ácido acético a partir do processo.
