Abstract

a presente invenção proporciona um método para produzir um éster alquílico de ácido graxo leve com fórmula r1-coo-r2, e esse método compreende uma etapa em que um éter alquílico com fórmula r1-o-r2 e um gás bruto que contém monóxido de carbono atravessam um reator carregado com um catalisador para realizar uma reação de carbonilação; em que tal catalisador contém uma peneira molecular de zeólita emt ácida; em que r1 e r2 são selecionados independentemente a partir de grupos c1-c4-alquílicos. a presente invenção proporciona um novo método para produzir um éster alquílico de ácido graxo leve. no método da presente invenção, a carbonilação é realizada na presença de um catalisador que contém uma peneira molecular de zeólita emt ácida, com atividade de reação alta e a estabilidade melhorando significativamente, cumprindo a exigência de produção industrial.
