Abstract

trata-se de um processo para a preparação de polietileno por meio da polimerização em um etileno de pasta aquosa e, opcionalmente, uma ou mais alfa-olefinas c3 a c10, em que a polimerização é executada em um reator de polimerização cilíndrico equipado com um agitador para misturar os conteúdos do reator e induzir um fluxo da pasta aquosa, em que alimenta-se o reator com o etileno por um sistema de injeção de etileno que compreende um ou mais bocais de injeção que se projetam através da cabeça de reator de fundo ou através da parede de reator e se estendem de 0,02 vez a 0,5 vez o diâmetro interno d no reator e em que o etileno sai do bocal de injeção com uma velocidade de saída de 10 m/s a 200 m/s.
