Abstract

a presente invenção se refere a um método para se produzir, reprodutivelmente, grandes quantidades de transcriptase reversa de telomerase (tert) solúvel e ativa ao expressar esta enzima em células de levedura. um rendimento elevado de tert ativa recombinante foi obtido através do controle de parâmetros específicos do processo de purificação. a proteína tert assim obtida mostra atividade com tr transcrita in vitro, abrindo o caminho para o rastreamento com elevado rendimento químico de conjuntos de inibidores de telomerase e aplicações terapêuticas.
