Abstract
POLIPEPTÍDIOS CÍCLICOS PARA O TRATAMENTO DE INSUFICIÊNCIA CARDÍACA. A presente invenção oferece um polipeptídio cíclico de fórmula I (SEQ ID NO: 1): X1-R-X3-X4-L-S-X7-X8-X9-X10-X11-X12-X13 I ou uma amida, um éster ou um sal do mesmo, ou um bioconjugado do mesmo, onde X1, X3, X4, X7, X8, X9, X10, X11, X12 e X13 têm as definições dadas neste relatório. Os polipeptídios são agonistas do receptor de APJ. A invenção também se refere a um método para a produção dos polipeptídios da invenção ou bioconjugados dos mesmos, e seus usos terapêuticos tais como o tratamento ou a prevenção de insuficiência cardíaca descompensada aguda (ADHF), insuficiência cardíaca crônica, hipertensão pulmonar, fibrilação atrial, síndrome de Brugada, taquicardia ventricular, aterosclerose, hipertensão, restenose, doenças cardiovasculares isquêmicas, cardiomiopatia, fibrose cardíaca, arritmia, retenção de água, diabetes (inclusive diabetes gestacional), obesidade, doença arterial periférica, acidentes cerebrovasculares, crises isquêmicas transitórias, lesões cerebrais traumáticas, esclerose lateral amiotrófica, lesões causadas por queimadura (inclusive queimadura de sol) e pré-eclâmpsia. A presente invenção oferece ainda uma combinação de agentes farmacologicamente ativos e uma composição farmacêutica.
