resumo patente da invenção: "sede de válvula altamente resistente ao desgaste para uso em um motor de combustão interna, e método de fabricação para a mesma". uma sede de válvula altamente resistente ao desgaste para uso em motor de combustão interna é fornecida. pó de estoque de provisão para formar uma camada lateral em contato com a válvula é obtido misturando-se pó de ferro, pó de partícula rígida e pó de grafite. o pó de estoque de provisão também pode conter pó de elemento de liga e/ou pó de partícula lubrificante sólido e é formulado tal que, após a sinterização, uma parte base contenha de 0,3 a 2,0 % em massa de carbono e um total de até 70% em massa de um ou mais dos seguintes elementos, o restante compreendendo ferro e impurezas inevitáveis: co, si, ni, mo, cr, mn, s, w e v. alguns ou todos os pós de partícula rígida têm um diâmetro médio de partícula entre 15 e 50 µm inclusive, e o pó de ferro também tem um diâmetro médio de partícula entre 15 e 50 µm inclusive, e, após a sinterização, a estrutura da parte base seja tal que partículas rígidas constituam de 10 a 65 % da massa total da camada lateral em contato com a válvula, e sejam dispersadas com densidade de pelo menos 1.000 partículas/mm2. isto torna possível dispersar uniformemente uma fase de partícula rígida ao longo de uma fase base de um corpo sinterizado, produzindo uma sede de válvula sinterizada à base de ferro que exibe força e resistência ao desgaste excelentes.
