resumo patente de invenção: "motor de combustão interna e método de controle para o motor de combustão interna". a presente invenção refere-se a um motor de combustão interna que inclui um mecanismo de válvula variável (44) que assume uma característica de válvula de uma válvula de admissão e muda a característica de válvula de acordo com de um estado de funcionamento do motor; um turbocompressor (30) que inclui uma passagem de desvio (34), que contorna um rotor de turbina (31) disposto em uma passagem de escape através da conexão de uma parte da passagem de escape que está a montante do rotor da turbina a uma parte da passagem de escape que se encontra a jusante do rotor da turbina, e uma válvula de porta de resíduos (35) que ajusta uma área de passagem de fluxo da passagem de desvio; e um aparelho de controle configurado para, quando existir um pedido para aumentar a característica de válvula de acordo com uma mudança no estado de funcionamento do motor, alterar a característica de válvula para um lado de aumento com o mecanismo de válvula variável após a abertura da válvula de porta de resíduos para uma quantidade abertura que é maior do que antes do pedido.
