Abstract
MÉTODO PARA PRODUZIR GLICOSE. É descrito um micro-organismo anaeróbico termofílico que é cultivado na presença de celulose e Beta-glicosidase, por meio do que uma celulase é produzida para decompor a celulose em um sacarídeo tal como celo-oligossacarídeo, o celo-oligossacarídeo resultante é decomposto adicionalmente com Beta-glicosidase em glicose, e a glicose é acumulada em um meio de cultura. Alternativamente, um micro-organismo anaeróbico termofílico é cultivado na presença de uma mistura de amido e celulose, Beta-glicosidase, Alfa-amilase e glucoamilase, por meio do que uma celulase é produzida para decompor a mistura amido-celulose em glicose, e a glicose é acumulada em um meio de cultura.
