resumo patente de invenção: "processo para a preparação de um elemento protético que compreende um corpo de vidro cerâmico, elemento protético e uso do elemento protético". a presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação de um elemento protético que compreende um corpo de vidro cerâmico. o processo compreende as etapas de a) proporcionar um corpo básico que compreende uma fase vítrea amorfa e contendo os componentes do corpo vidro cerâmico a ser preparados, e b) transferir energia para o corpo básico para induzir a conversão de uma fase de partida do material do corpo básico em, pelo menos, uma fase cristalina em uma região confinada. de acordo com a invenção, a energia é transferida para a região confinada do corpo básico por irradiação a laser da dita região com um feixe de laser com um comprimento de onda de pelo menos 500 nm.
