Abstract
kit, e, uso de uma composição farmacêutica ou nutracêutica pteroestilbeno, um análogo natural de resveratrol, mostra ação tipo ansiolítica por infrarregulaçõa de níveis fosforilados de erks no hipocampo de camundongos. camundongos administrados com pteroestilbeno (1 a 10 mg/kg de bw (peso corporal)) por gavagem oral foram submetidos ao teste do labirinto em cruz elevado (epm). pteroestilbeno manisfestou atividade ansiolítica em doses de 1 e 2 mg/kg, demonstrada pelo aumento da porcentagem de tempo de permanência e do número de entradas em braços abertos, determinantes críticos para ansiedade. esta atividade ansiolítica foi comparável a diazepam a 1 e 2 mg/kg no epm. a porcentagem de distância percorrida e tempo de permanência nos braços fechados diminuiu com doses de 1 e 2 mg/kg. as doses de 5 e 10 mg/kg não mostraram qualquer efeito ansiolítico. a atividade locomotora não foi afetada em todas as doses. a análise western blot confirmou as observações de epm; pteroestilbeno foi detectado no soro e tecido do cérebro, após uma única administração oral, demonstrando que o composto atravessa a barreira hematoencefálica e, assim, exerce seu efeito ansiolítico. resveratrol não teve qualquer efeito ansiolítico.
