resumo patente de invenção: "análise de alto rendimento de bordas de transgenes". a presente invenção refere-se a um método para identificar sequências desconhecidas de dna que flanqueiam sequências conhecidas de dna. a invenção melhora a exatidão, a sensibilidade e a reprodutibilidade na determinação de sequências desconhecidas de dna que flanqueiam uma sequência conhecida de dna. este método reivindicado pode ser implantado como método de alto rendimento para identificar de modo rápido e eficiente sequências cromossômicas do genoma de plantas que flanqueiam um transgene. a análise posterior destas sequências desconhecidas pode ser utilizada para caracterizar o sítio de inserção do transgene para a identificação de rearranjos, inserções e deleções que resultem da integração do transgene. adicionalmente, a análise das sequências flanqueadoras cromossômicas pode ser utilizada para identificar a localização do transgene no cromossomo.
