Abstract
métodos e kits para a detecção de células circulantes de tumor em pacientes pancreáticos com o uso de reagentes de detecção de captura e de coquetel poliespecificos. a presente invenção refere-se a um teste altamente sensível que combina enriquecimento imuno-magnético com citometria de fluxo multiparamétrica ou citometria de imagem para detectar, enumerar e caracterizar células de carcinoma no sangue. a presente invenção incorpora a conjugação de diferentes anticorpos ao mesmo ferrofluido. isso tem o efeito de produzir o ferrofluido poliespecífico que diz respeito aos antígenos que o ferrofluido irá ligar-se. os múltiplos anticorpos presentes no mesmo ferrofluido não aparecem bloquear ou de outro modo interferir uns com os outros. tais ferrofluidos têm o efeito altamente desejável de ser capaz de ligar-se especificamente a mais de um tipo de célula. o teste é especialmente útil para possibilitar a captura de ctcs que têm baixa expressão de epcam, mas alta expressão de outros marcadores de tumor; consequentemente, o teste facilita a caracterização biológica e estadiamento das células de carcinoma.
