Abstract

método para fabricar xaropes de sorbitol de alta pureza a partir de sacarose e seus usos. a invenção refere-se a um método para fabricar um xarope de sorbitol que tem um teor de açúcares redutores totais de no máximo 0,2% e um teor de manitol inferior a 1%, com 70% em peso de matéria seca. esse método de fabricação é caracterizado pelo fato de que inclui as etapas de: (a) hidrolisar uma solução de sacarose em uma solução de açúcares invertidos, (b) separar a solução de açúcar inverto por cromatografia de leito móvel simulado ("simulated movig bed chromatography") em, por um lado, um xarope de dextrose que tem pelo menos 99,3% de preferência 99,4% de maior preferência pelo menos 99,5%, e de ainda maior preferência 99,7% de teor de dextrose e, por outro lado, um xarope de frutose que tem pelo menos 90% de preferência 92%, de teor de frutose, e (c) hidrogenação do dito xarope de dextrose em um xarope de sorbitol que tem um teor de açúcares redutores de no máximo 0,2% e um teor de manitol inferior a 1% com 70% em peso de matéria seca.
