Abstract

a presente invenção de refere a um método de projeto de um pneu destinado a ser encaixado no eixo de direção de um veículo pesado de mercadorias,este pneu q ue tem uma altura de parede lateral nominal f,este pneu que compreende uma banda de rodagem (1) no novo estado que tem uma largura máxima total l0 para contato máximo com o solo e é dotada de pelo menos quatro sulcos circunferenciais (2) cada um tendo uma largura e se estendendo entre a superfície de banda de rodagem e um fundo de sulco,estes sulcos (2) que delimitam três nervuras intermediárias (3) e duas nervuras de borda (4) que ligam axialmente a dita banda de rodagem,cada nervura de borda (4) tem duas paredes laterais (401,402), uma destas paredes laterais,conhecida como parede lateral interna,que tem uma altura prep medida em relação á parte inferior do sulco (2') que delimita a dita nervura de borda,esta parede lateral interna que tem,quando visualizada em corte em um plano que contém o eixo geométrico de rotação,uma inclinação dep ,cada nervura de borda que tem uma largura lep maior que a largura de cada uma das nervuras intermediárias ,este método de projeto que envolve uma determinação de valores de maneira iterativa para as dimensões lep,prep e dep que satisfazem a seguinte relação: p (lep,dep,prep) < 1,105769231 x f,com p (lep,dep,prep) = -303,528-2,00675 x lep + 10,2755 x dep + 81,0414 x prep - 0,052551 x lep2 - 0,0825991 x lep x dep + 0,225564 x lep x prep - 0,111262 x dep 2 - 0,209215 x dep x prep - 2,5831 x prep 2. o pneu se destina a ser encaixado no eixo de direção de um veículo pesado de mercadorias no qual as larguras de nervura de borda e ângulos de parede lateral são predeterminados.
