Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A SEPARAçãO DE áCIDO SULFìDRICO A PARTIR DE GáS DE COQUERIA COM A SUBSEQuENTE OBTENçãO DE ENXOFRE ELEMENTAR EM UMA INSTALAçãO DE CLAUS". Processo para a separação de ácido sulfídrico a partir de gás de coqueria com a subseq³ente obtenção de enxofre elementar em uma instalação de Claus. O ácido sulfídrico é removido por lavagem de gás com um líquido de absorção. Durante a regeneração do líquido de absorção carregado, ácido sulfídrico é acumulado em forma concentrada e é alimentado na instalação de Claus. A instalação de Claus compreende uma caldeira de Claus, uma caldeira recuperadora de calor perdido bem como um forno de reação que forma um estágio de catalisador adicional. De acordo com a invenção, a instalação de Claus é operada com apenas um único forno de reação, o qual opera em uma temperatura de trabalho inferior a 250<198>C. O gás de processo que sai do forno de reação é reconduzido, após a deposição de enxofre elementar com um teor residual não reagido em ácido sulfídrico, ao gás de coqueria a ser limpo, antes da lavagem de gás.
