Abstract
"COQUILHA REFRIGERADA POR LìQUIDO". A invenção refere-se a uma coquilha refrigerada por líquido, para fundição por extrusão de metais, que compreende placas de coquilha (1) de cobre ou de uma liga de cobre, que estão unidas por meio de pinos de fixação (14) com, respectivamente, uma placa adaptadora ou com uma caixa de água. A coquilha está caracterizada pelo fato de que os pinos de fixação (14) estão fixados em bases de plató (7), que se salientam do lado de agente refrigerante (6) da placa de coquilha (1) à semelhança de ilhas, que pelo menos parcialmente se salientam para dentro de uma fenda de agente refrigerante, formada entre a placa de coquilha (1) e a placa adaptadora ou a caixa de água e possuem uma forma aerodinâmica, adaptada à direção de corrente (S) do agente refrigerante.
