Abstract

"MOLDE REFRIGERADO POR LìQUIDO PARA LINGOTAMENTO CONTìNUO DE METAIS". A presente invenção refere-se a um molde refrigerado por líquido para lingotamento contínuo de metal, compreendendo placas do molde (1) de cobre ou de uma liga de cobre, as quais são ligadas por meio de pinos de fixação cada vez com uma placa adaptadora ou com uma caixa de água, sendo que os pinos de fixação são fixados em bases de plataforma (3), que sobressaem em forma de ilha do lado do agente de refrigeração (2), e as quais se projetam pelo menos parcialmente para dentro de uma fenda do agente de refrigeração, configurada entre a placa do molde (1) e a placa adaptadora ou a caixa de água, respectivamente, e que dispõem de uma configuração aerodinâmica, ajustada à direção da corrente do agente de refrigeração. O lado do agente de refrigeração (2), apresenta nervuras de refrigeração (4, 5, 6, 7), dispostas regionalmente entre duas bases de plataforma vizinhas (3) e as quais se projetam para dentro da fenda do agente de refrigeração.
