Abstract
,"FILTRO DE PARTìCULAS COM UM REVESTIMENTO CATALITICAMENTE ATIVO PARA ACELERAR A QUEIMA DE PARTìCULAS DE FULIGEM ACUMULADAS DURANTE UMA FASE DE REGENERAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um filtro de partículas para remover fuligem do gás de exaustão de um motor a diesel. O filtro de partículas contém um revestimento cataliticamente ativo sobre o corpo do filtro, para acelerar a queima durante a fase de regeneração das partículas de fuligem coletadas sobre o filtro. o filtro de partículas compreende um revestimento catalítico que contém compostos de bário, compostos de magnésio, e pelo menos um elemento dos metais do grupo da platina. A invenção referese ainda a um processo para a combustão acelerada de partículas de fuligem coletadas sobre o filtro a partir do gás de exaustão pobre de um motor a diesel, no qual as partículas de fuligem têm uma temperatura de ignição da fuligem do filtro e o filtro de partículas é regenerado ativamente de tempos em tempos elevando a temperatura do filtro de partículas para acima da temperatura de ignição da fuligem e queimando as partículas de fuligem.
