Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE áCIDO ACRìLICO". A presente invenção se refere a um processo para a produção de ácido acrílico (AA) compreendendo as etapas de: (a) submeter uma primeira mistura de gás compreendendo propileno, oxigênio, um gás inerte e vapor a um primeiro estágio de reação de oxidação catalítica, convertendo, por esse meio, o propileno, na presença de um catalisador, principalmente em acroleína que fica contida em uma segunda mistura de gás da dita primeira reação de oxidação catalítica; (b) submeter dita segunda mistura de gás do primeiro estágio de reação de oxidação catalítica a um segundo estágio de reação de oxidação catalítica, convertendo, por esse meio, a acroleína, na presença de um catalisador, principalmente em AA que fica contido em um gás de produto; (c) submeter dito gás de produto a uma torre de resfriamento, sendo que dito AA é recuperado como uma solução aquosa compreendendo dito AA que fica contido na água de processo e um gás de processo do suspiro é obtido no topo de dita torre de resfriamento, sendo que - dita primeira mistura de gás tem uma razão vapor/propileno > 0,3 e < 2 e - a quantidade de dita água de processo é menor ou igual à quantidade de água na dita solução aquosa retirada da torre de resfriamento.
