Abstract

"EXPANSOR". A presente invenção refere-se a um expansor (M) que emprega vapor como meio de trabalho é formado a partir de um primeiro grupo, radialmente interno, de cilindros de pistão axial (49) dispostos anularmente em um rotor (27), de modo a circundar o eixo (L) de um eixo de saída (28) e um segundo grupo, radialmente externo, de cilindros de pistão (57) dispostos anularmente, de modo a circundar o primeiro grupo de cilindros de pistão axial (49). O primeiro e segundo grupos de cilindros de pistão axial (49, 57) são acionados por um prato oscilante comum (39) e o primeiro e segundo grupos de cilindros de pistão axial (49, 57) são dispostos com passos circunferencialmente deslocados. O vapor de temperatura elevada, pressão elevada, opera primeiramente o primeiro grupo de cilindros de pistão axial (49), então opera o segundo grupo de cilindros de pistão axial (57) e as saídas dos dois são combinadas para acionar o eixo de saída (28). Isso resulta em uma posterior redução no tamanho e um aumento no rendimento do expansor do tipo axial (M).
