Abstract
"PROTEçãO DE ASSENTO úMIDO PARA DETECçãO DE OCUPANTE E CONTROLE DE AIRBAG". Um sistema de detecção de passageiro é provido. O sistema de detecção de passageiro utiliza um circuito de oscilação, que faz com que uma antena de eletrodo emita um campo elétrico, que é perturbado pelas características elétricas de um objeto colocado sobre o assento. Esta perturbação altera a corrente e a fase do sinal no eletrodo de antena. Pela comparação da corrente fluindo no eletrodo de antena e/ou na diferença entre a fase do sinal no eletrodo de antena e o sinal de saída do circuito de oscilação com valores de limite predeterminados, é possível detectar a presença de um passageiro, de uma maneira confiável e económica. Sensores ambientais são usados, para tornarem a determinação mais precisa. A umidade, o umedecimento e/ou a condição aterramento são detectados e usados para a alteração do processamento, de valores ou de cálculos.
