Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE PARTìCULAS DE MAGNETITA". Esta invenção refere-se a um processo para produzir partículas de magnetita tendo uma coercibilidade de 6,366 kA/m a 10,345 kA/m (= 80 a 130 Oe) e um formato octaédrico de partícula, compreendendo o aquecimento de um componente alcalino e de um componente ferro(II) sob a forma de uma solução aquosa a uma temperatura de 50<198>C a 100<198>C, em que a relação molar do componente ferro(II) para um equivalente do componente alcalino é de 0,38 a 0,45, e tratamento da suspensão com um agente oxidante em uma taxa de oxidação de 20 a 50 % em mol de Fe(II)/h até que o composto de ferro tenha um conteúdo de Fe(III) de mais de 65 % em mol, e então adicionar novamente um componente Fe(II) sob a forma de uma solução aquosa em uma proporção molar de Fe(II) para um equivalente de componente alcalino total utilizado de 0,47 a 0,49, e tratar a suspensão com um agente oxidante, a uma taxa de oxidação de 20 a 50 % em mol de Fe(II)/h até que o composto de ferro tenha um conteúdo de Fe(III) de mais de 65 % em mol, e filtração da suspensão, e lavagem, secagem e moagem do resíduo.
