Abstract

"CONSTRUçãO GENéTICA DE LIGNINA ENRIQUECIDA COM SIRINGILA EM PLANTAS". A presente invenção refere-se a uma seq³ência de DNA nova, que codifica uma enzima de via biossintética de lignina previamente não identificada, desidrogenase de álcool de sinapila (SAD) que regula a biossíntese de lignina de siringila em plantas. São também fornecidos métodos para incorporar esta seq³ência nova de gene SAD ou seq³ências substancialmente similares em um genoma de planta para construção genética de lignina enriquecida com siringila em plantas.
