Abstract

"<UM>COMPOSIçãO PARA ENCHIMENTO DE CABOS E UTILIZAçãO DA MESMA<MV>". A invenção refere-se a composições para enchimento de cabos, em que um copolímero de blocos de estireno-butadieno com estrutura radial é utilizado como um agente de formação de gel. Este polímero é obtido através de polimerização seq³encial de estireno e butadieno e subseq³ente reação com um agente de acoplamento, preferentemente do tipo CI~ 4-n~MR~ n~, em que M = Sn ou Si, R é um grupo alquila ou arila e n é um inteiro de 0 a 2, e hidrogenação do polímero resultante. Este tipo de copolímero resulta em uma estabilidade mais elevada para as propriedades finais do gel, em comparação com as borrachas sintéticas hidrogenadas lineares usualmente empregadas na técnica anterior.
