Abstract

"AçO INOXIDáVEL MARTENSìTICO E PROCESSO DE PRODUçãO DE AçO". Um processo para produzir um aço inclui submeter pelo menos uma parte de um banho líquido do aço à refusão com eletrodo consumível na escória e, em uma etapa subseq³ente, aquecer o aço a uma temperatura pelo menos igual à temperatura mais baixa, na qual todos os carbonetos que podem se formar no aço refundido vão dissolver, e não superior à temperatura de ductilidade zero do aço refundido, e manter a temperatura por um período de tempo suficiente para dissolver as partículas de carbonetos primários e agregados no aço refundido de comprimentos superiores a 15 micrómetros. Um novo aço inoxidável martensítico é descrito, incluindo 0,65 a 0,70 de carbono, 0 a 0,025 de fósforo, 0 a 0,020 de enxofre, 0,20 a 0,50 de silício, pelo menos um de mais do que 0,00004 de boro e mais do que 0,03 de nitrogênio, 0,45 a 0,75 de manganês, 12,7 a 13,7 de cromo, e 0 a 0,50 de níquel.
