Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO DE FABRICAçãO DE TIRAS DE AçO AO CARBONO, NOTADAMENTE DE AçO PARA EMBALAGENS, E TIRAS DE AçO ASSIM PRODUZIDAS". A invenção tem como objeto um processo de fabricação de tiras de aço ao carbono, notadamente de aço para embalagens de acordo com o qual: lingota-se sob a forma de uma tira fina de 0,7 a 10 mm de espessura, diretamente a partir de metal líquido, um aço que tem uma composição adaptada para uma utilização como aço para embalagem; efetua-se uma operação de laminação a quente em linha da dita tira, que termina no domínio austenítico do dito aço; efetua-se um resfriamento forçado da dita tira a uma velocidade de 80 a 400<198>C/s que termina no domínio ferrítico do dito aço; efetua-se uma laminação a frio da dita tira com uma taxa de redução de pelo menos 85%; e efetua-se um recozimento da dita tira. A invenção também tem como objeto uma tira de aço, notadamente de aço para embalagens, caracterizada pelo fato de que ela é suscetível de ser obtida através do processo precedente.
