Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "GENE DE STREPTOMYCES AVERMITILIS QUE REGULA A PROPORçãO DE AVERMECTINAS B2:B1". O presente invento está relacionado com moléculas polinucleotídicas, compreendendo sequências nucleotídicas codificadoras de um produto proteico AveC, tais moléculas polinucleotídicas podem ser usadas para alterar a proporção ou quantidade de avermectinas das classes 2:1 produzidas em culturas de fermentação de S. avermitilis. O presente invento está ainda relacionado com vectores, células hospedeiras e estirpes mutantes de S. avermitilis em que o gene aveC foi inactivado, ou mutagenizado, de forma a alterar a proporção ou quantidade de avermectinas das classes 2:1 produzidas.
