Abstract

"PROCESSOS PARA SECAR E PARA REVESTIR UM SUBSTRATO METáLICO COM UMA COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO ELETRODEPOSITADO". Um processo para secar uma composição líquida de revestimento eletrodepositado aplicada a um substrato metálico é provido. Radiação infravermelha e ar quente são aplicados simultaneamente à composição de revestimento eletrodepositado por um período de pelo menos cerca de 1 minuto, a velocidade do ar na superfície da composição de revestimento eletrodepositado sendo menor que cerca de 4 metros por segundo. A temperatura do substrato metálico é aumentada em uma taxa variando de cerca de 0,25<198>C por segundo a cerca de 2<198>C por segundo para alcançar uma temperatura de pico do metal do substrato variando de cerca de 35<198>C a cerca de 140<198>C.
