Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "HIBRIDAçãO SUBTRATIVA à BASE DE MICRO-SISTEMA". A invenção se refere a um método altamente eficiente, de alto rendimento para a identificação e eliminação de redundância em uma população de moléculas de ácidos nucleicos. Este método envolve um protocolo de subtração reiterativa usando uma biblioteca que se torna mais propensa para genes desconhecidos com cada rodada sucessiva. A remoção de ácidos nucleicos repetitivos e caracterizados previamente da biblioteca permite a identificação de RNAm de baixa abundância a partir de fontes de interesse e aumenta o índice de descoberta de novos genes. A presente invenção também é útil para a remoção de ácidos nucleicos contaminantes das bibliotecas de clonagem.
