Abstract

Se proporciona métodos para aislar e identificar nuevas moléculas de ácidos nucleicos codificantes de pesticidas a partir de las cepas bacterianas que se identificó que tienen un polipéptido pesticida. Los métodos incluyen seleccionar una cepa bacteriana que tiene o que se sospecha que tiene por lo menos un plásmido codificante de pesticidas, curar el por lo menos único plásmido codificante de pesticidas de la cepa bacteriana y realizar una hibridación sustractiva para obtener ARNm plasmídico que codifica el polipéptido pesticida. El ARNm plasmídico puede usarse para producir una genoteca de ADNc de la cual se puede aislar y posteriormente identificar el polipéptido pesticida.
