Abstract

"MéTODO PARA BIOTRATAMENTO DE POLUENTES DE PETRóLEO COM BACTéRIAS QUE UTILIZAM ALCANO". Bactérias que utilizam alcano são usadas para degradar poluentes que compreendem compostos de petróleo. Podem ser usadas técnicas no local ou fora do local para reduzir ou eliminar poluentes de petróleo de fontes sólidas, líquidas ou gasosas. Em uma modalidade preferida, concentrações de petróleo em vários ambientes são reduzidas mediante o contato dos poluentes de petróleo com bactérias que utilizam butano na presença de oxigênio para degradar os poluentes de petróleo por co-metabolismo ou metabolismo direto. Bactérias que utilizam alcano adequadas incluem Pseudomonas, Variovorax, Nocardia, Chryseobacterium, Comamonas, Acidovorax, Rhodococcus, Aureobacterium, Micrococcus, Aeromonas, Stenotrophomonas, Sphingobacterium, Shewanella, Phyllobacterium, Clavibacter, Alcaligenes, Gordona, Corynebacterium e Cytophaga.
