Abstract

The invention relates to a thread for breaking of packages open having symbol signs applied on it. A possibility for sealing and opening of the package enabling to determine the originality of the product is formed by the design of the packaging and the mechanism for its breaking. In its capacity of an applied en coding the strip for breaking of the package as early as before its connection to the packaging foil is extended along its length in separate sections along the left and/or righthand side, and/or along its upper and/or lower side. The number and/or radii, and/or top of the corrugations along the thread for breaking the package open form an information encoding. In an option of the invention a thread for breaking the package open with encoding one or more perforated holes is designed. At least one optically protection forming element is applied for encoding the information on the thread for breaking consisting of at least one character-forming printing ink, a diffraction structure, and/or one metallized component. 5 claims, 3 figures
