Abstract
Ce dispositif est du type comprenant une introduction de gaz brulés chauds contenant des NOX et provenant de ce meme procédé de combustion ou d'un procédé externe, avec réduction simultanée des NOX, contenus dans ces gaz brulés. Le problème à résoudre consiste à conserver le rendement des réacteurs connus en réduisant à un minimum la chute de pression des gaz brulés. A cet effet, on utilise un préchauffeur d'air connu en soi (1) à structure de régénérateur ou de récupérateur, dans lequel la surface coté gaz brulés des éléments d'échange de chaleur 9 est munie d'un revetement agissant comme catalyseur pour la réduction des NOX. L'invention trouve une application avantageuse sur les échangeurs à contre-courant croisé.
