<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
Les objets et avantages de l'invention apparaîtront de façon plus évidente à la leoture de la desoription suivan- te d'une de ses formes d'exéoution donnée à titre purement illustratif et à l'examen des dessine annexés, dans lesquels : - la figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'un tronçon de coffrage assemblé par carcans suivant l'invention ; - la figure 2 est une vue en perspective, partiel- lement déooupée, illustrant, à plus grande échelle, un élé- ment de carcan d'assemblage du coffrage de la figure 1 ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
<Desc/Clms Page number 7>
<Desc/Clms Page number 8>
<Desc/Clms Page number 9>

having for object: Carcan to assemble shuttering panels.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The present invention relates to formwork and more particularly relates to a straitjacket for assembling formwork panels of a column / beam or the like.
In the field of the construction of concrete frame buildings, the formwork of columns and beams has always weighed heavily on labor and investment costs. Conventional timber formwork is increasingly used. less used because of their limited possibilities of reuse. On the other hand, the formwork. , known prefabs, metallic or otherwise, are most often of the interlocking type to ensure their stability over their entire height and generally have the disadvantage of having to be dismantled in a determined order, for example, from top to bottom. low.
In column or beam formwork, it is desirable to be able to modify the section of the formwork according to the section of the column or the beam to be produced, which can generally vary from one storey to another or d 'one location to another.
The invention aims to remedy the drawbacks and the limitations of use of the formwork of the prior art. In particular, the invention allows adjustment of the section of the formwork in both dimensions and disassembly of a minimum number of elements while nevertheless ensuring great stability over the entire height or length of the formwork.
According to the invention, the shuttering panels of a cell or a beam are assembled using a monk
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
a straitjacket comprising elements intended to be fixed to each or to one of the panels and to be interconnected two by two by at least one securing member, each of these elements having, on the one hand, a sole applied flat against the corresponding panel and on the other hand, to the monk a soul extending over the entire length of the sole.
In accordance with the invention, each element of the yoke is provided, at at least one of its ends, with a heel intended to bear on the inner face of the neighboring panel which extends to this end, while the sole and the panel relating to each element on the one hand, and the heels of each element, on the other hand, have at least some of the assembly hole and the others, several assembly holes, the holes of a heel can be aligned with those of the corresponding sole.
On the other hand, the aforesaid securing member is engaged in a hole of a heel of an element and as well as in a hole of the panel adjacent to that fixed to this element and in the corresponding hole of the sole of this adjoining panel, any other holes in the latter panel being closed by removable plugs
According to an advantageous feature of the invention, each shuttering panel rests on the two neighboring panels by a face and an edge, respectively, that is to say that the end of each shuttering panel can be moved in. the plane of the facade of the neighboring panel on which it rests, which allows the seotion of the shuttering to be modified at will.
According to another feature of the invention, the sole and the heels of each element are provided with
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
several differently spaced holes on the sole and on the heels, which makes it possible to reduce, for a given number of possible adjustments, the number of holes drilled in the panels and their elements or vice versa, to adapt the, adjustment possibilities for a given number of holes.
According to another feature of the invention, at least two panels are formed by the end-to-end assembly of two or more panels, which makes it possible to produce columns of large section with width panels. and of moderate height or length which does not hinder handling.
The formwork yoke elements according to the invention can be profiled and made in any case compatible with the bending and tensile stresses to which they are subjected. They are preferably formed by metal sections.
The shuttering panels advantageously have a length corresponding to the standard height of the columns or to the standard length of the beams to be produced and are in the form of wooden plates or any of its derivatives and substitutes, such as o plywood, laminates, chipboards, plastics or even metal.
The objects and advantages of the invention will emerge more clearly from the description of the following description of one of its forms of execution given purely by way of illustration and from an examination of the appended drawings, in which: Figure 1 is a perspective view of a formwork section assembled by shackles according to the invention; FIG. 2 is a perspective view, partially cut away, illustrating, on a larger scale, an assembly yoke element of the formwork of FIG. 1;
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
- Figure 3 is a partial elevational view, after section along line III - III of Figure 1, of the assembly of two panels and their assembly elements according to the invention, and - Figure 4 is a detail perspective view, partially cut away, of the end-to-end assembly of two shuttering panels according to the invention.
In these different figures, the same reference notations designate identical elements.
In Figure 1, there is shown a section of a formwork designated as a whole by the reference notation 1. The formwork 1 is, in the case shown, intended for the concreting of a column of square section and s' extends over the entire height of the column. The formwork comprises four panels 2 on which are fixed from distance to distance over their entire height, elements 3 interconnected two-to-x by at least one securing member constituting shackles (only two shown) each designated, as a whole, by the reference notation 4.
These shackles constitute reinforcement and assembly belts of the panels. The elements 3 of the casings 4 comprise at least one sole 5 (figure 2) intended to be applied flat against a panel and a core or wing.
6, extending over the entire length of the sole, intended to take up the bending stresses due to the thrust of the concrete on the formwork. The elements 3 are provided with holes 7 allowing them to be fixed to the panels by means of known fasteners, screws or bolts 7 'for example.
According to the invention, each element 3 is provided with at least one heel 8 at at least one of its ends and with
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
preferably to both, as illustrated in Figure 2. ' The heel 8 of each element is intended to bear on the inner face of the neighboring panel 2 which extends to this end. Therefore, the heel 8 of each element 3 is placed level with the edge of the panel to which the element is attached. In the embodiment shown, the elements 3 have a length corresponding exactly to the width of the panels 2 so that the heels 8 are flush with the corresponding edges of their respective panels.
In addition, according to the invention, the sole 5 and the panel 2 relating to each element 3 on the one hand, and the heels 8, on the other hand, are provided, some of them, with an assembly hole 9 and the others, with several assembly holes 9 (figure 2), while each panel 2 is provided with holes 9 'aligned with the holes 9 of the sole 8.
In addition, each member denoted 11, for securing two elements 3 (and two panels 2) is engaged in a hole 9 of a heel 8 of an element and a hole 9 'of the panel 2 adjacent to that fixed to this. element, and in the corresponding hole 9 of the sole 8 of the element 3, of this neighboring panel; the other possible holes of the latter panel are closed by removable plugs 12 to prevent leakage of concrete laitance during pouring.
According to a feature of the invention, each shuttering panel 2 rests on the two neighboring panels by a face and an edge, respectively, as illustrated in FIG. 1. This arrangement has the very 'great advantage that the we can vary them independently. two dimensions of the horizontal section of the column formwork. On the other hand, the provision (not shown), eg. feasible with the panels assembled by means of
<Desc / Clms Page number 7>
shackles according to the invention, in which two parallel panels are framed between two other panels parallel to each other, only allows, with a single set of four panels, to modify one of the dimensions of the formwork section.
The sole 6 and the heels 8 of each element 3 are advantageously provided with several holes 9 at different intervals on the sole and on the heels. The heel hole spacing is preferably less than that of the sole for reasons of bulk. The heels are, for example, provided with three holes 9 spaced apart
2 cm, while the holes 9 in the sole are spaced
5 cm on the useful half of the sole as shown in Figure 2. It should be noted here that the holes 9 can also be provided over the entire length of the sole, which allows use on one side of the panel or on the other, indifferently.
Aveo a sole 6 provided with four holes spaced 5 cm apart, the closest to the with the furthest heel is 32 cm from the latter and heels provided with three holes spaced 2 om apart, the closest of which is distant of 2cm from the flange, and for a formwork thickness of 1cm, the adjustment possibilities are respectively 32 - 1 - (6.4 or 2) or 25, 27, or 29 cm column width for the first hole in the sole, i.e. closest to the furthest heel, The other settings
EMI7.1
1. possible are respectively: 30, 32, 34, 35, 37, 39, 40, 42 and 44 cm.
It is obvious that this example is purely illustrative and in no way limits the almost infinite variety of adjustment possibilities that can be achieved by an appropriate choice of the number and the spacing of the holes in the sole and the heels of the elements which can be regularly.
<Desc / Clms Page number 8>
spaced or not according to needs.
The yoke element according to the invention is advantageously constituted by a U-sectional profile.
Element 3 is then provided with two webs or wings 5, as shown in the drawing, and therefore has greater resistance to bending, all other things being equal, than a section with a single web but in addition , this profile allows,., also an assembly of the panels 2 by superposition., This arrangement is particularly advantageous in the formwork of columns of great height or height greater than the standard. In fact, the panels are advantageously made in a length of 2.5 m which corresponds to the minimum height of the usual columns of buildings with
EMI8.1
, '-r frame.
It is, therefore, very easy to produce columns of slightly greater height, 2.75 or 3 m for example, by lengthening each panel 2 by means of a section of panel 2 ', as is illustrated in Figure 4, by providing similarly arranged holes in them. wings or webs 5 joined together with the upper and lower flanges, respectively, of the elements 3 and 3 'of the upper and lower shackles, respectively, and by assembling the contiguous wings of the neighboring panels 2 and 2' by means of securing members constituted, for example, by bolts 13.
It is also possible, according to the invention, to assemble two or more panels end to end, by adding the corresponding end heels of their respective elements, which makes it possible to achieve, by juxtaposition edge to edge of the panels 2 in the longitudinal direction, formwork whose dimensions are greater than those of a panel. This arrangement has not been shown in the drawing since it is easily understood.
<Desc / Clms Page number 9>
The invention also relates to a formwork comprising at least three panels assembled by a yoke of the type described and in particular to a formwork with four panels.
It is obvious that the yoke according to the invention i is applicable to any form of square, reotangular, trapezoidal, triangular, hexagonal formwork and in principle to any polygonal section, regular or not, such formwork can also be used to produce beams or the like of construction.
It should be noted that the shuttering panels assembled by a straitjacket according to the invention can only be partially dismantled with a view to their subsequent reuse, for example, by removing the joining members from two diagonally opposite edges. As a result, the necessary manpower is considerably reduced.
Finally, the invention relates to a yoke element of the type described above. This yoke element can be assembled with other elements, similar or different, by means of any known assembly member and in particular, by means of a pin 11 provided with a key bearing on the wings 5 of an element 3 as is clearly illustrated in Figure 3.
It is obvious that many variations and modifications can be made to the embodiment described and illustrated, without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention, provided that these variations and modifications do not contradict each of the following claims:
