ASSEMBLAGE.DE TUYAU A MANCHON.
L'invention a pour objet un assemblage de'tuyau à manchon avec boîte à étoupe vissable et a pour but la réalisation d'un assemblage de tuyau à manchon approprié particulièrement aux tubes d'acier, assemblage qui est plus simple, moins coûteux, plus léger et d'un diamètre plus petit rela- tivement aux dispositifs connus jusqu'à présent.
Dans les assemblages de tuyaux à manchon connus pour tubes d'a- cier, le filetage de l'écrou pour la boîte d'étoupe vissable est prévu sur un anneau supplémentaire, formant écrou, qui entoure le manchon sous forme d'anneau de recouvrement ou qui est encastré et immobilisé dans le manchon.
Selon l'invention, le filetage de la boîte d'étoupe est formé par un fil métallique au-similaire envidé en forme d'hélice et soudé dans le man- chon et ayant une section adaptée à la forme du filetage de la boîte à étou- pe, par exemple une section circulaire. La suppression de l'anneau formant écrou représente une économie sensible de frais et une diminution de poids.
Le diamètre extérieur de l'assemblage à manchon est plus petit d'environ le double de l'épaisseur de l'anneau formant écrou actuellement utilisé.
Le fil métallique ou similaire servant à la formation du file- tage de l'écrou peut être envidé par des moyens simples en longueur quelcon- que sous forme d'hélice. Il s'est révélé qu'il n'est pas nécessaire de souder le filou-similaire sur toute sa'longueur au manchon. Il suffit plutôt, d'or- dinaire, d'un soudage par section pour obtenir un assemblage suffisamment so- lide du fil et du manchon.'
Sur le dessin, on a représenté, à titre d'exemple non limitatif, une coupe axiale longitudinale d'un assemblage selon l'invention.

The object of the invention is a sleeved pipe assembly with a screwable stuffing box and its object is to provide a sleeve pipe assembly suitable particularly for steel tubes, which assembly is simpler, less expensive, more lightweight and smaller in diameter compared to devices known hitherto.
In the known sleeve pipe assemblies for steel pipes, the thread of the nut for the screwable packing box is provided on an additional ring, forming a nut, which surrounds the sleeve in the form of a cover ring. or which is embedded and immobilized in the sleeve.
According to the invention, the thread of the stuffing box is formed by a similar metal wire envisioned in the form of a helix and welded into the sleeve and having a section adapted to the shape of the thread of the stuffing box. - eg, for example a circular section. The elimination of the ring forming the nut represents a significant saving in costs and a reduction in weight.
The outside diameter of the sleeve assembly is smaller by about twice the thickness of the nut ring currently in use.
The metal wire or the like for forming the thread of the nut can be fed by simple means in any length in the form of a helix. It has been found that it is not necessary to weld the trickster-like over its entire length to the sleeve. Rather, section welding is usually sufficient to achieve a sufficiently strong connection of the wire and the sleeve.

seal 3, which rests against a hollow conical surface of the sleeve and is clamped against the screw-on stuffing box 4. With the external thread of the stuffing box, the threads of which have a substantially semi-circular cross section, a metal wire 5 cooperates and welded to the inner face of the end 2a of the sleeve. It is obvious that the thread of the stuffing box and the correspondingly welded wire in the sleeve may have a suitable section other than a circular section.
