Un nouveau dispositif d'assemblage de tubes de sondage
Le but de la présente invention est d'obtenir un rac- cord de tuoes de sondage, solide, facile à visser, s'appli- ouant à des tubes de peu d'épaisseur et, conséquemment, légers.
Le dessin ci-joint donnant une coupe du dispositif en montre suffisamment la constitution.
Un des tubes D est embouti à son extrémité, d'une quan- tité suffisante pour recevoir le bout F d'un manchon B, que l'on soude en E, à la soudure autogène, au tube D. Ce man- chon B porte, intérieurement, un pas de vis de profil quel- conque, solide, de manière à constituer le bout femelle de l'assemblage.
Au tube C, qui doit faire suite au tube D, on adapte, de la même manière, un manchon A dont la partie G s'emboite dans le bout embouti du tube C et auquel il est également soudé à la soudure autogène en H.

Ce manchon porte, extérieurement, un filet de vis corres pondant à celui du manchon B, de manière à constituer le oout mâle de l'assemblage
Les deux tubes étant ainsi constitués, il est facile de les visser l'un sur l'autre pour continuer la formation de la colonne de tubes.
On remarquera que ce dispositif donne des avantages multiples et importants :
Il permet l'emploi de tubes d'acier de faible épaisseur conséquemment légers pour le transport et pour la facilité de manoeuvre.
Le pas de vis peut être d'un profil assez profond, solide, d'emboîtement facile, sans préjudice pour la solidité de l'assemblage, étant donné l'épaisseur sérieuse conservée aux deux manchons derrière le filet de vis.
L'ensemble de l'assemblage conserve un diamètre inté rieur uniforme, de manière à ne gêner en rien la liberté d'ac tion des outils de perf orat ion.
D'autre part, la paroi extérieure ne présente aucune aspérité pouvant former accrochage.
Les manchons A et B pourraient se souder directement aux tubes C et D sans posséder les bouts renflés G et F, mais ce dispositif n'est pas à conseiller car cela constituerait une cause très sérieuse de faiblesse.
Ce dispositif permet l'emploi de tubes du commerce, re- lativement peu coûteux, et donne lieu à un prix de revient d'usinage également peu élevé.

It will be noted that this device gives multiple and important advantages:
It allows the use of thin steel tubes which are consequently light for transport and for ease of handling.
The thread can be of a fairly deep profile, solid, easy to fit, without prejudice to the solidity of the assembly, given the serious thickness retained at the two sleeves behind the screw thread.
The whole assembly maintains a uniform internal diameter, so as not to hinder the freedom of action of the perf orat ion tools.
On the other hand, the outer wall has no roughness that can form a catch.
The sleeves A and B could be welded directly to the tubes C and D without having the swollen ends G and F, but this device is not advisable because this would constitute a very serious cause of weakness.
This device allows the use of commercially available tubes, relatively inexpensive, and gives rise to a cost of machining which is also low.
