Comme on peut s'en rendre compta à l'examen de la figure 1, l'égouttoir, une fois replié, se présente sous la forme d'un couvercle plat 1, articulé, grâce à des charnières 2 (figure 2), star un panneau mural 3; celui-ci peut être fixé au mur par tout moyen approprié.
Des pinces4, prévues à la partie Supérieure du panneau mural 3, maintiennent, par son bord supérieur, le couvercle 1 en position fermée.
Un bouton 5, situé à l'extérieur du couvercle 1, permet 1'ouverture ou la fermeture de de dernier par dégagement ou en- gagement de son bord supérieur avec les pinces 4.
Lors de l'ouverture du couvercle 1, l'égouttoir se présente sous la forme illustrée par la figura 2 :les grilles latérales 6 sont rabattues contre le centre du panneau mural 3 et la grille frontale 7 contre la fond intérieur du couvercle 1.
Pour monter l'égouttoir, il suffit donc, après que le couvercle 1 a été amené à faire un angle droit avec le panneau mural 3 (les compas 8 sont alors complètement ouverts et limitent 1'ouverture du couvercle 1), d'amener les grilles latérales 6 le long des compas 8, en les faisant pivoter autour de pitons 9 formant charnières, puis de redresser, en position sensiblement verticale, la grille 7, qui se trouve dans la fond du couvercle 1, an la faisant pivoter autour d'articulations 10 (figure 4);
l'ame- née en position verticale de la grille 7 peut d'ailleurs avoir lieu automatiquement sous l'action d'un ressort de rappel quel- cohque.
