La présente invention a pour objet un appareil à couper les légumes ou produits similaires et il est essentiellement con- stitué d'un socle destinéà former support pour les légumes, fruits, etc., sur lequel se déplacent des couteaux en forme de disques rotatifs suivant un mouvement en arc de cercle elter- natif ou suivant un mouvement circulaire complet.
Ces disques coupants sont enfilés sur un axe de manière réglable avec des pièces de distance entre eux et l'axe est monté de maniè-re réglable dans un pivot rotatif.
L'invention sera décrite ci-après avec référence au des- sin annexé qui représente certaines formes de réalisation.

L'appareil comporte un socle 1 sous forme de disque cir- culaire fabriqué en bois et en toute autre matière convenable.
Ce disque peut être fixé sur une table à l'aide de griffes de serrage 2 ou être monté sur une base en marbre, fer, etc., de façon a fournir la stabilité nécessaire pour empêcher tout mouvement intempestif pendant le découpage. Le socle comporte un évidement 3 en arc de cercle et au centre se trouve dressé le pivot 4 qui peut tourner autour de l'axe vertical du disque.
Dans ce pivot rotatif 4 peut visser l'axe 5 qui porte une pluralité de disques circulaires 6 formant couteaux. Ces dis- ques coupants sont écartés l'un de l'autre par des pièces de distance 7, le groupe de disques étant serrés à l'aide d'écrous à papillon avec contreécrous. L'arbre 5 comporte une poignée de manoeuvre 8. Le contour du socle peut être entouré, en tout ou en partie, d'une bande dépassant son épaisseur, pour contenir les légumes coupées.
Le fonctionnement de l'appareil est évident par Iui-même.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for cutting vegetables or similar products and it is essentially constituted by a base intended to form a support for vegetables, fruits, etc., on which move knives in the form of rotating discs according to an alternating circular arc motion or a complete circular motion.
These cutting discs are adjustable on an axis with distance pieces between them and the axis is adjustably mounted in a rotary pivot.
The invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawing which shows certain embodiments.

The apparatus comprises a base 1 in the form of a circular disc made of wood and any other suitable material.
This disc can be fixed to a table using clamps 2 or be mounted on a base made of marble, iron, etc., so as to provide the necessary stability to prevent inadvertent movement during cutting. The base has a recess 3 in an arc of a circle and in the center is the pivot 4 which can rotate about the vertical axis of the disc.
In this rotary pivot 4 can screw the axis 5 which carries a plurality of circular discs 6 forming knives. These cutting discs are separated from each other by distance pieces 7, the group of discs being tightened using wing nuts with locknuts. The shaft 5 has an operating handle 8. The outline of the base may be surrounded, in whole or in part, with a strip exceeding its thickness, to contain the cut vegetables.
The operation of the apparatus is evident by itself.
