Mémoire descriptif à l'appui de la demande de brevet pour: "DESSICATEUR" Armand D E W A N D R E à Ruy de Chawion ,Spa
Le présent brevet a pour objet un dessicateur transportable convenant particulièrement pour le séchage en meule du foin ou d'autres produits agricoles.
Le dessicateur envisagé est caractérisé en ce qu'une foi en position d'utilisation ,le produit à sécher est isolé du sol et l'air pénétrant sous la meule peut monter par la cheminée ce@ trale et sécher le foin ou autre en le traversant.
A cet effet, le dessioateur dans un mode de réalisation, affecte la forme d'un parapluie renversé dont la -oointe serait enfoncée dans le sol et est constitué d'une tige centrale -oortai à une certaine hauteur du sol un plateau fixe la périphérie duquel sont articulées des tringles s'étendant horizontalement et aux extrémités desquelles sont articulés des montants formant les pieds reposant sur le sol.
A ces tringles s'étendant horizontalement,sont articulées une distance-appropriée du centre, d'autres tringles s'élevant vers le sommet, et articulée

à leur autre extrémité à la périphérie d'un autre plateau pouvant coulisser sur la tige centrale et retenu dans sa@posi- tion la plus basse sur cette dernière, par exemple par une goupille .

La fig.2 représente une coupe transversale dans le dessicateur de la fi.I chargé de foin.
La fig. 3 représente une coupe transversale montrant la façon dont se replie le dessicateur en vue de son transport ou de son enmagasinage.
En se reportant aux figures ci-dessus, 1 représente la tige centrale munie d'un plateau 12 reposant sur le sol et à une certaine distance ,un second plateau .3 à la périnhérie duquel sont articulées en 4 les tringles 5 aux extrémités desquelles sont articulés en 9 les montants 10 formant les nieds reposant sur le sol.
Sur les tringles 5 sont articulées en 7 les tringles 6 dirigées vers le haut et elles-mêmes articulées en 8 à la périphérie d'un autre plateau 3 pouvant coulisser sur la tige centrale 1 et limité dans son déplacement vers le bas par un arrêt tel une goupille 13.
Dans la fig.I l'appareil est disposé et prêt pour recevoir la charge de foin et former une meule 11 comme cela est représente en coupe à la fig.Z.
On voit qu'ainsi le foin est isolé du sol et que l'air peut entrer tous la meule 11 et dans sa partie cônique centrale pour sécher le foin en le traversant.
Un complément presqu'obligatoire à l'appareil dessicateur représenté consiste dans la présence d'une bache percée au somme de trous pour laisser passer l'air et fixée à sa base par exemple à un cerceau en fer. Dans ces conditions la meule

s' 11 étant terminée/il vient à pleuvoir, le foin est isolé du sol et préservé par la bache non représentée aux dessins. Si au con traire il fait beau temps, le soleil échauffe la bâche et l'aii @ chaud pénétrant sous la meule 11 s'échappe par les trous du so@ met de la bache et ainsi s'établit un tirage naturel à l'inté- rieur de la meule.11,
