OPENDRAAIENDE PARASOL Object van de uitvinding [0001] Het object van de uitvinding is een parasol, voornamelijk een vast opgestelde parasol met grote afmetingen.
Stand van de techniek [0002] De bekende parasollen die bijvoorbeeld worden geïnstalleerd boven een tuintafel, zijn van het klassieke type, waarbij het scherm wordt opengeduwd door een aantal spaken die zich onder het scherm bevinden en verbonden zijn met een ring die over de centrale as van de parasol schuift. Het naar boven duwen van de ring zorgt ervoor dat de spaken zich openen en de aldus de parasol open duwen.
Het is dus onvermijdelijk dat de spaken zichtbaar zijn wanneer de parasol open is. Vanuit estetisch oogpunt is dit dan ook voor verbetering vatbaar.
Doel van de uitvinding [0003] Het doel van de uitvinding is een parasol te voorzien die een oplossing biedt voor bovengenoemd probleem.
Hoofdkenmerken van de uitvinding [0004] De uitvinding wordt gekenmerkt door een parasol zoals beschreven in de bijgaande conclusies.

Gedetailleerde beschrijving van de uitvinding [0008] Zoals te zien is in de bijgaande figuren, bestaat de parasol van de uitvinding uit een centrale as 1, die bij voorkeur via een sokkel (niet getoond) of soortgelijke manier is vastgezet op de grond. Een eerste reeks spaken 2 (bijvoorbeeld vier in aantal) is voorzien waarvan elke spaak 2 scharnierend verbonden is met een schijf 3 die zich bovenaan de as 1 bevindt en kan roteren ten opzichte van de deze as. In plaats van de schijf 3 zijn andere elementen mogelijk. Belangrijk is dat de spaken 2 scharnierend verbonden zijn met een element 3 dat kan roteren ten opzichte van de as.
[0009] Een tweede reeks spaken 4 is voorzien, hetzelfde in aantal als de eerste reeks spaken 2, en waarvan elke spaak 4 scharnierend verbonden is aan het uiteinde 5 met een spaak 2 van de eerste reeks spaken. Elk paar overeenkomstige spaken van de bovenste (2) en onderste reeks (4) liggen substantieel in hetzelfde verticale vlak.
De spaken 4 van de tweede reeks zijn eveneens scharnierend verbonden met een ring 6, die rond de as is gemonteerd.
Deze ring 6 bevat inwendige schroefdraad, die overeenstemt met de uitwendige schroefdraad die zich bevindt op een deel 7 van de centrale as.
[0010] Vanuit de gesloten toestand getoond in figuur 1, kan men de parasol openen door de spaken te laten draaien met betrekking tot de centrale as. De

schroefdraadverbinding tussen de ring 6 en het draadgedeelte 7 van de as, zorgt ervoor dat de ring zich naar beneden beweegt langs de as, waardoor de spaken zich openzetten, zie figuur 2.
[0011] In de geopende stand liggen de spaken van de onderste reeks zo goed als horizontaal, zie figuur 3. Men kan de parasol weer sluiten door de spaken vanuit de stand van fig. 3 in de tegenovergestelde richting te draaien ten opendraai-richting, waardoor de ring 6 zich naar boven beweegt langs de centrale as en de spaken zich sluiten.
[0012] Het doek van de parasol is niet getoond op bijgaande figuren. Dit doek is bevestigd aan de onderste spakenreeks 4. De afmetingen van de stukken doek die aan deze spaken bevestigd zijn, zijn zodanig dat deze stukken doek zich opspannen tot een horizontaal vlak in geopende toestand van de parasol. Op die manier is de onderkant van de parasol in geopende toestand gevormd door een continu vlak gevormd door de parasolstof, terwijl het openingsmechanisme, de spaken, zich boven dit doek bevindt.
Deze structuur laat dus toe een meer estetisch uitzicht te verkrijgen aan de onderkant van de geopende parasol.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION As can be seen in the accompanying figures, the parasol of the invention consists of a central shaft 1, which is preferably fixed to the ground via a base (not shown) or similar manner. A first series of spokes 2 (for example four in number) is provided, each spoke 2 of which is hingedly connected to a disc 3 which is located at the top of the axis 1 and can rotate relative to this axis. Other elements are possible instead of the disc 3. It is important that the spokes 2 are hingedly connected to an element 3 that can rotate relative to the shaft.
A second series of spokes 4 is provided, the same in number as the first series of spokes 2, and each spoke 4 of which is hingedly connected at the end 5 to a spoke 2 of the first series of spokes. Each pair of corresponding spokes of the upper (2) and lower series (4) are substantially in the same vertical plane.
The spokes 4 of the second series are also hingedly connected to a ring 6 mounted around the shaft.
This ring 6 contains internal screw thread, which corresponds to the external screw thread which is located on a part 7 of the central shaft.
From the closed state shown in Figure 1, the parasol can be opened by rotating the spokes with respect to the central axis. The

threaded connection between the ring 6 and the threaded portion 7 of the shaft, causes the ring to move downward along the shaft, causing the spokes to open, see figure 2.
In the open position, the spokes of the lower series are as good as horizontal, see figure 3. One can close the parasol again by turning the spokes from the position of figure 3 in the opposite direction to the direction of rotation, whereby the ring 6 moves upwards along the central axis and the spokes close.
The fabric of the parasol is not shown in the accompanying figures. This cloth is attached to the lower spoke series 4. The dimensions of the pieces of cloth attached to these spokes are such that these pieces of cloth stretch to a horizontal plane in the open position of the parasol. In this way, the underside of the parasol in the open state is formed by a continuous surface formed by the parasol fabric, while the opening mechanism, the spokes, is above this cloth.
This structure therefore allows for a more aesthetic appearance at the bottom of the opened parasol.
