La figol est la projection en coupe du dispositif;
La fig.2 montre la coupe d'une bride permettant à l'usager les opérations de réglage et de vérification détaillées plus loin;
La fig.3 représente une coupe de la bride et un profil de ses ailettes;

Ce piston-soupape est soumis à un ressort de rappel F dont la fonction consiste à l'éloigner de son siège D sur le- quel sa tête B repose à la dépression(donc an ralenti du mo- teur),de manière à obturer tout passage d'air venant du con- duit ±.La partie du clapet qui doit s'appliquer sur ce siège D n'est pas à arêtes vives;les angles en sont plutît arrondis,a- fin de ne pas emprunter une trop grande surface de ce siège .Un trou de petit diamètre est percé au centre de la soupape B pour laisser passer l'air venant d'un orifice avec clapet sous forme d'une bille C;
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

CARBURATION CORRECTOR FOR EXPLOSION ENGINES
The present invention relates to the carburization of internal combustion mo tsars; it realizes a fuel saver which is adjustable for the same speed or the same force, by reducing the demand for fuel at the nozzle orifice, and at the same time extracting additional fuel. power thanks to the mixing of the admitted gases which is obtained by the device described later and provides better homogenization.
This invention is represented, by way of non-limiting example, by the accompanying drawings, in which:
The figol is the sectional projection of the device;
Fig.2 shows the section of a flange allowing the user to perform the adjustment and checking operations detailed below;
Fig.3 shows a section of the flange and a profile of its fins;

throttle valve for the adjustment operations made possible by this device.
Finally, figo5 shows schematically certain accessories adaptable to the figol device, and with wedging, blocking, lubrication, damping effect, court ralei
The carburetion corrector comprises a part in the body of the pump A, in which a piston-valve B which is mounted on an oreuse rod can play, and can slide back and forth in the cylinder X.
This piston-valve is subjected to a return spring F whose function is to move it away from its seat D on which its head B rests under vacuum (therefore at engine idling), so as to close all air passage coming from the duct ±. The part of the valve which must be applied to this seat D is not with sharp edges; the angles are rather rounded, in order not to borrow too large an area of this seat. A small diameter hole is drilled in the center of the valve B to allow the air coming from an orifice with a valve in the form of a ball C;
this orifice is adjustable *, in fact, the ball being held on its seat by the thrust of a spring R, it suffices to screw this seat (see figol on the left) to put pressure on the spring and release the orifice, in the aim of giving the gas mixture admitted at idle the percentage of air which is necessary for a good accomplishment of idling, avoiding the absolute excess in the gasoline intake, then that would have the effect of fouling the explosion chambers at this operating speed.
The duct E is under the control of a valve, the butterfly valve H. The air admitted by this duct can be adjusted by the driver, during operation, by operating a pull tab attached to his reach, on the apron of the vehicle, with control hose (or by any other system) and allowing it to open or close this throttle H, according to the engine's demand for additional air, according to the operating temperature of the latter , the power of the repeats, and, finally, according to a given acceleration point:
for example, fifty kilometers per hour, the speed at which the driver will open the throttle H, so
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
that, at this fixed acceleration, the speed does not decrease. This air inlet will reduce the value of the suction exerted on the orifice of the carburetor jet, around the bulge that the diffuser presents in this place, thus reducing fuel consumption, At around 300 rpm, the depression being reduced by the opening of a carburetor throttle valve, the piston valve B, obeying the inaction of the spring F, will be fully recalled. of its cylinder, which will free the passage to the mouth of the duct ±. This valve B will be applied to its seat as soon as the accelerator is in the idle position,
ith new duct E plugging, by moth of the vacuum; pxis the ball C will again leave its seat to restart an air intake set for idling. If necessary, this ball C can be blocked from closing off any air inlet if the carburetor can be adjustable, as well and more easily than the above device, to reduce the fuel inlet.
The device is fitted with a flange G (to be inserted between the carburettor and the intake manifold) (detailed view in fig. 2) to which the intake air flows, when circuit E is released. flange, the duct will flatten out to allow air to enter the circular duct which is established in the flange. The edges of the duct provide access to the interior of the flange through a circular opening so that additional air passes through the flange. - not more or less large part of the circular duct, the edges not being wide enough in front of the inlet of the air duct.
Thanks to the fins a, a, a (three in number, for example), which are fixed in a symmetrical order around the periphery and to the helical pitch that they present, the gas mixture is returned from the center towards the walls, while e the ends of the fins return a greater or lesser part of it towards the center, thus creating an exeppt eddy of braking and suitable for homogenizing the gas mixture.
At the assembly. air intake from duct E can be connected to one of the engine oil breather or to the filter

However) by using the present device, the driver is able to correct his gas mixture at such time as he deems appropriate, while leaving the engine at its greatest power.
The saving in fuel, by applying the apparatus to certain normal engines, reaches twenty five percent, and this result is obtained without abnormal heating or any deterioration; it was also noted that the recoveries were carried out with much more power, an advantage of considerable range.
Following the diagram given in fig. 5, the invention provides for the addition to the device of figol: 1) of a felt ring A acting as a slide lubricator and damper, between the spring locking washer and the slide of the piston-valve rod; 2 *) a spring, very short, shock absorber, inside the cylinder, on the wall of the slide or slide, all in order to avoid the noise inherent in operation; 3) a tube @ t serving to wedge the locking washer of the return spring and resting on the locking lock nut of the adjustable seat.
The locknut g locks the adjustment by depressing the piston rod and holding the spring lock washer timing tube.
